International Workshop on Colloids and Nanotechnology in Energy and Petroleum Held in UPC

International Workshop on Colloids and Nanotechnology in Energy and Petroleum has been successfully held by School of Petroleum Engineering at 28.Oct.2018. There are more than 50 researchers from China, German, Canada, Kazakhstan and Iran attending the workshop and taking an extensive communication and in-depth discussion around colloids and nanotechnology. 

Deputy Division Chief of International Cooperation and Exchange Office Kehua Wu and Assistant Dean of School of Petroleum Engineering Weian Huang attended the workshop and delivered opening speeches.

In this workshop, Professor Reinhard Miller from German, Academician Saule Aidarova from Kazakh, Associate professor Marzieh Lotfi from Iran, Professor Li’an Zhao and Director Joseph Wang from Canada as well as Lecture of our school Hongbin Yang make keynote presentations.

This conference makes an active response to the appeal of “The Belt and Road Initiative”, and creates favorable conditions for creating International Cooperation joint Laboratory for Petroleum Engineering.
