Recently, a delegation led by LI Zhaomin , the vice-president of UPC, paid a visit to the Drilling Technology Research Institute of Shengli Engineering Co., Ltd and the Shengli Oilfield Exploration and Development Research Institute. They signed the agreement on the school-enterprise joint training base for graduate students respectively and held the unveiling ceremony of the joint training base and the appointment ceremony of on-site supervisors.
School-enterprise joint training base is a cultivation platform established by universities and enterprises, aiming to improve the innovation ability, practical ability and comprehensive quality of graduate students for professional degree. It is also an important carrier for both to carry out industry-university-research cooperation. The agreements on joint training base between UPC and two institutes define the function and management system of the base, rights and responsibilities of the supervisors of the two sides, as well as the safety responsibility and ownership of scientific achievements of the postgraduate students participating in the practice. They will help to further standardize the management of the base, ensure the quality of postgraduate training and lay a solid foundation for a long-term and stable cooperation between the school and the enterprise.
